The Native Wood Ducks who live around our dam have 10 babies. They are unbelievably adorable - and quite large - so their parents have done a good job of keeping them hidden. We've suspected for a couple of weeks that they might have babies - they flew away every time we went near the dam and looked generally parental - but we saw them yesterday for the first time.
Lee came out to work on the goat pen while the rest of us were at Stake Conference and saw them in the paddock with Honey - then we all saw them on the dam later that afternoon.
