Skateboarding

There was an inkling of interest brewing before we went to Clermont - but since then it has been heating up. Davy & Mitchy were here for a day before they left for Cambodia and Vietnam with Joan and that pretty much tipped us over the edge - now skateboarding has full craze status.

There were more than a few anxious moments between when Sam gave Peet the new deck and when he finally got it all put together. He decided to spend all his worldly wealth on new trucks, wheels and bearings. Alec got a Nail deck too so there was some passing down of skateboards. Max now has a skateboard made of Alec's old deck and Peet's old trucks and wheels, and Louisa has Max's old skateboard.

Louisa is pretty keen to try skateboarding - at least while it's safe and soft - in the house!

We'vve tried out the Ferny Grove skatepark - and plan to go while we are waiting for the KG kids train.
