Willies Jeep
Driving through Toowoomba today Lee and I saw a very well restored left hand drive WW2 Willies Jeep - which sparked a memory for Lee of riding around Canada in one just like it - though the one we saw had a canvas roof and the one in Canada had no roof. Which all means it was very cold in minus 20 degree F weather with snow swirling etc. Lee had the bright idea of using some cowskins to make a top for it but Grandad Walker wouldn't have it - he said 'you can't have your Mother riding around town in cow skins'. I guess riding around in the snow was preferable.
